Like many other schools, we were recently forced to move from Scomis-hosted SIMS to SIMS Connected. Since the switch, we've had quite a few complaints from teachers about slowness and downtime. After speaking to some other schools, I don’t believe it’s just us experiencing this.
Occasionally, when the downtime lasts longer than 15 minutes, they update their status page – although that has now stopped working since they moved to their new (and unfortunately worse) support portal.
For those of you who have been using SIMS Connected for longer: is the sluggish performance most mornings just something we have to get used to, or do you think it will improve over time as they scale up to support more schools?
