Technology in Schools Survey 2025
IFF Research, an independent research company, are conducting the second wave of the 'Technology in Schools Survey (TiSS)' on behalf of the Department for Education (DfE). This survey is being undertaken to understand the state and use of technology in schools. It builds on a survey conducted a few years back (2022-23) which you may have taken part in. On the basis of the previous survey the DfE expanded Connect the Classroom to increase internet speeds in schools. This latest survey will likewise be used to influence policy developments.
If you are an IT professional working for a mainstream school in England, please answer this survey on behalf of your school. If you work on behalf of multiple schools, please answer for the school you consider to be your main school. For example, the one you spend most time working for. The survey asks questions about school connectivity, cyber security, servers, storage and back office systems, hardware, software, and technology support.
We greatly appreciate your help and time. The survey should take around 15-20 minutes. Please be reassured that your individual responses are strictly confidential and kept according to GDPR guidelines – no individual or school will be identified through this research.
