Quick question for those schools that use Arbor, in relation to the assigned / configured email address (used to send emails out):
What/which email address do you use?
I know that Arbor send out on 'behalf of'..., but do you use an email (e.g. shared mailbox, no-reply@...) that isn't monitored? Combined with perhaps an Exchange Mail Flow rule to reject any emails sent back?
Student Email Addresses
Are these actually needed? Even if you intend to communicate via the Arbor Student App only? Although I suspect so, to send Arbor credentials (or password reset) in the first instance.
With SSO only being able to be activated for Staff accounts, I assume this means that students will have to use their M365 (email) account name as their 'username' combined with an Arbor specific password to login? (e.g. not the same as Microsoft Azure AD)
Finally, are emails for students sent from the same email address as defined centrally within Arbor, as we have mail-flow rules in place to block external emails being sent to certain student / year groups which will require exceptions for the email to be received.
